DI LISH took the women’s individual island snooker title with a battling display against Lisa Robilliard at the Royal British Legion, northern branch. In a scrappy final with few big breaks, Lish beat her opponent 3-1. She went into the lead thanks to a 57-52 first frame, only for Robilliard to hit back straight away with a 69-34 frame.
Lish sealed the match with the next two, 48-35 and 43-18.
In the island handicap final, Adam Shorto beat Andy Travis in three straight frames.
Travis was unlucky: the first two went to the black, Shorto clearing the colours both times to win.
