Gina’s commitment recognised by peers
Monday 3rd May 2004, 12:00AM BST.
THE managing director of Approved Personnel is the first islander to gain a fellowship of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. Gina Le Prevost said she was ‘delighted’ with the award, which was the highest level of membership in the governing body that represents the UK recruitment industry.
‘It recognises my professionalism and commitment to my clients and the recruitment industry as a whole. The Rec is the only governing body for recruitment agencies – there is no better than that’.
Fellowship is given only to those who have been a member of the confederation for more than 10 years. To receive this award, Ms Le Prevost also had to be recommended by two of her clients and a Rec board member.
Ms Le Prevost has had a long career in the industry. After working for 10 years in finance, she set up Approved Personnel Guernsey in 1990.
Over the past 14 years, her business has grown from three staff to 35 and also has offices in Jersey, Cyprus and the British Virgin Islands.
