New offices mean room to expand

A MOVE to Regency Court has marked another important step for the Walbrook Group. The company completed a £50m. management buyout from Deloitte last December and moved to the former Savoy Hotel site last month.
Sharon Parr, managing director of the company’s Guernsey operation, said the company had ambitious growth plans.
The group, which employs more than 160 staff across Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, expects to double its workforce over the next five years. About a third are based in Guernsey.
‘In truth, we outgrew our old premises some time ago and the move to Regency Court has been long-awaited,’ said Mrs Parr.
‘It gives us the space we need now and also room to expand as we continue to attract new business as a result of our new independence.’
Staff will benefit from the four-storey building overlooking the QEII Marina as the former offices in the Bordage had become an overcrowded, uncomfortable environment in which to work, she added.
‘Regency Court is a prestigious development and I believe that reflects well on Walbrook and our ambitious plans,’ said Mrs Parr.
