ODDSOCKS Productions is at Castle Cornet from Friday with its latest romp, Robin Hood and Prince John, to commemorate 1204. But it has another string to its bow and the founders, Andy Barrow and Ellie Mackenzie, have a corporate arm to produce and provide bespoke training and films.

Mr Barrow spoke to about 50 members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) from the finance industry, commerce and the public sector at a lunchtime seminar at the Duke of Richmond Hotel.

He told them about how Oddsocks worked with organisations to deliver an accessible and enjoyable training and communication message to the workforce, using humour to engage people’s interest in and understanding of the relevant issues.
