Issey makes her mark at British

ISSEY NORMAN-ROSS has come fifth in the under-15 girls British Closed Championship in Nottingham.
The 14-year-old Ladies College student and newly-crowned island women’s champion, made the quarter-finals before losing to the eventual runner-up, England number three Emily Whitlock.
She then beat the Welsh number three, Hannah Williams, in the fifth place play-off. The tournament saw the best 32 players in her age group in the country battle it out.
