ISLAND COACHWAYS is bringing new meaning to the term speed dating later this month.

Singletons will be able to meet potential partners on board a bus while it drives around the island in aid of charity Hope for Guernsey. Hope for a Date is the brainchild of bus company managing director Hannah Beacom.

She is taking part in this year’s London Marathon, with all the money raised going to the charity.  The coaches will take people on a 26.2-mile tour of the island – the classic marathon distance – with one of the buses specifically for couples or groups simply wanting to make new friends.
