FIVE promising Sarnian cricketers have been named in a provisional 25-strong Sussex U-18 squad to tour Abu Dhabi and Dubai later this year.

Jon Clark, Adam Hindle, Tom Kirk, Will Thompson and Matthew Renouf could compete in the development tournament involving five other county academies between 13 and 23 December.

Kirk, Thompson, Hindle and Renouf, who are all part of the Pricewaterhouse-Coopers-backed Sussex CCC sub-academy, have been chosen alongside Clark, who has impressed the selectors over the winter.
