‘Loaring should be in Muratti squad’

MICK LE PREVOST has called for Matt Loaring to be picked for the senior island squad after he watched the 17-year-old score a first-half hat-trick in North’s win at Vale Rec on Saturday.

‘If I was Steve Ogier [the Guernsey coach] I would definitely have him in the island squad for the Muratti,’ said the North boss.

‘I don’t know if he’d start but I’d have him involved. He can score goals. Matt did well today.’
