Renier reels in best catch of the month and two awards

JAMES RENIER won the top awards in the February Fish of the Month competition.
His 17-5-0 boat-caught bass scored 93.98% and gave him the Shakespeare Monthly Angling award for the top overall fish and the Alderney Sea Angling Club tankard for the best boat specimen.
It was a bad month for the competition as only four entries were received. The J. Meerveld and Sons tankard for the best shore-caught fish went to junior Callum McLaren for his 1-0-8 red mullet that scored 26.19%.
