GUERNSEY are facing new challengers at tomorrow night’s Dinner Boxing Show. For the first time the Amalgamated Boys’ Club are taking on a Woking Select team.
Guernsey coach Graham Guilbert sees the positives of his fighters taking on new opponents. ‘It’s a good thing,’ he said.
‘The standard of Guernsey boxing is coming on in leaps and bounds. They are getting good experience.’ The St Pierre Park event will be the first time since February’s Open Show that the island boxers have been in action.
