Brilliant 12-medal haul for Guernsey Specials Gym Club

Medal winners from the group from the Guernsey Specials Gym Club who went to Jersey and from the in-house competition (549170)
THE Guernsey Specials Gym Club did the island proud at the weekend’s Special Olympics competition in Jersey.
The Sarnians won a total of 12 medals in a tournament that featured a number of teams from the UK. ‘I didn’t think we’d come back with any medals, let alone 12,’ said the club’s chairwoman, Louise Moody. ‘They all did brilliantly.’
The Guernsey team that competed at Fort Regent was made up of Leyton de la Mare, Sharna de la Mare, Sophie de la Mare, Billy de la Mare, Laura Le Page, Ryan Ozanne and Mark Mauger. The other sides involved included Southampton, Leicester, Cheshire, South Devon, Hull, Worcestershire, Coventry, Penarth, and Wolverhampton.

You all did really well a great bit well done to the people who did the in house competition they also did really well we aslo we to lihou for the weekend as a reward louise took a group of people over there including Alex Meade,Sophie De La Mare,Sharna De La Mare,Billy De la Mare,Leyton De La Mare Georgina Pierce,Erin Brouard and Megan Le Page. Also a very bit well done to the gymnasts who did the in house competition that did not invole all of the gymnasts but it did include these people Georgina Pierce,Erin Brouard and Megan Le Page,Natalie Wakefeild and Chloe Lloyd
