SCOTT BRADFORD and Bels look set to use the appeals process to their favour to ensure that the star midfielder is available for all the big end-of-season matches, including the Muratti.
Bradford had received a red card in Bels’ 2-1 victory over Rocquaine United for allegedly insulting referee Brent Blondel. He could face a month-long suspension for the offence.
According to Bradford, Bels are looking to appeal against the decision and the date could be set for a couple of days after Bels’ Upton Park showdown on Saturday 19 April. And according to a source close to the Guernsey Football Association, as this is so late in the season, the ban will probably be carried over to next season.
