Galacticos nearly across the finish line

GREMLIN Galacticos are just a single win away from successfully defending their Image Group Premier Division title and with their next match against Sporting Lions, only a major shock will stop them next time out.

Despite a stuttering start that saw them go 2-3 down, the Galacticos overcame Ex-Service Reds 9-3 to close in on the title.

Adrian Lihou and Glenn Le Prevost began well enough, but with Andy Travis coming back to beat the latter and Roscoe Cloarec taking one off Lihou, the Reds briefly took charge.
