Reverend and the Makers is one of the bands to replace CSS at Guernsey Live
BRAZILIAN band CSS has pulled out of Guernsey Live, but festival organisers have announced two new acts to replace them.
With tickets on sale via the event’s website at 9am tomorrow, the withdrawal of the electro-pop group, whose initials stand for Cansei de Ser Sexy (I’m Tired of Being Sexy) trip will be a disappointment, especially to Positiv co-director Warren Holt, who said earlier that he had been fortunate to secure the band this year, having chased them for events for the past two.
‘Recording commitments’ is cited as the reason for CSS withdrawing.
However, in CSS’s place, both Reverend and the Makers and Art Brut have been confirmed.
Utah Saints, Schallici and Oneofakind have also joined the bill.
