GUERNSEY will be going for the jugular by selecting an attack-minded side for the Junior Muratti against Jersey on Sunday.

The Sarnian squad, which has strength in depth and some promising individuals, contains five survivors from last season’s pulsating 4-3 stoppage-time triumph before a 1,000-strong crowd at Springfield.

They include hat-trick hero Matt Loaring and North teammates Garry Dodd, Miles Pengelley and Scott Bougourd and Vale Rec’s Tom de Garis. ‘I would say the balance of the squad is good and we look positive,’ said Guernsey U-18 manager Paul Ockleford yesterday.
