NORTH came from behind to defeat Bels 2-1 last night and lift the Guernsey FA Cup in front of more than 800 spectators at Foote’s Lane.
‘It’s fantastic – what a fantastic game of football from both teams and a great crowd,’ said a delighted North coach Mick Le Prevost afterwards.
‘I said before the game it’s all about chances and we took ours. Don’t forget Bels are Priaulx champions and they deserve to win the league, but we’ve now beaten them the last two times. It was a great game of football and it was nice to see so many people here. It could have gone either way to be fair.’
