IAN POWELL and Tom Hollingsworth came fourth and eighth respectively in the 200m butterfly final at the British Championships yesterday.
Their Beau Sejour Barracudas coach, Alison Frankland, was at Pond’s Forge, Sheffield, to watch them.
‘It was very interesting to see two Guernsey boys in the final and they announced that there were two Channel Islanders in the pool,’ she said. ‘I was very proud that they were there. They were flying the flag for Guernsey.’
