The Enemy will top the Guernsey Live bill on Sunday night.

THE Enemy will now headline Guernsey Live.

The Coventry three-piece, which in February won the NME best new band award, will take over the slot from Pete Doherty, who has been sentenced to 14 weeks in jail for drug-related offences.

The group performed at Jersey Live last year, as well as Glastonbury, and its debut album, We’ll Live and Die in These Towns, went straight to number one in the UK charts.

The band has just sold out four nights in a row at the London Astoria.
