Bafta for ex care worker

FORMER care-home worker Shane Allen enjoyed Bafta success on Sunday night when his Channel 4 comedy came out on top.
Mr Allen (pictured), who is now commissioning editor for Channel 4, was delighted when Fonejacker picked up the award for best comedy show.
The programme was up against The Armstrong and Miller Show, Benidorm, Russell Brand’s Ponderland and Star Stories, another show he commissioned.
