Rihoy 50:50 – Clegg dropped from squad

STEVE OGIER is prepared to give Dave Rihoy as much time as possible to recover from injury ahead of the Muratti final in nine days time.

But Rihoy’s Bels teammate Neil Clegg has not been afforded such a luxury and has been jettisoned from the original 20-man squad along with the suspended Craig Young.

‘He [Rihoy] has stretched his ankle ligaments and Mike Thomas [island physio] says he’s 50:50. We will give him as long as we can. He’s important to the team,’ said Ogier, who takes his squad to the Midlands today where they play England Universities at Warwick.

‘He’s coming over with us this weekend so Mike can work on him.’
