THE eagerly anticipated final game of the robin-robin stage of the Condor Super League did not disappoint.

With Roos and Zebras wanting to go into the play-offs with a morale-boosting win, it was a hotly contested game despite enforced tactical changes for both sides with the Trump sisters, Lois (now Batiste) and Anna, missing for the respective sides.

Shelley de Lisle and Cath Coutanche teamed up in the Zebras shooting circle and they were up against the pairing of Kate Seabrook and Sharna Bunyan.

For Roos the island under-19 shooting duo of Zola Bourgaize and Kiara de Carteret were made to work hard for every goal by the defence of Anais de Carteret and Claire Green.

The team ran out 42-36 victors.
