THE Yorkshire Guernsey Division One will be decided tonight.  The season has come down to Le Mont Saint Subaru’s meeting with Collins Stewart at Beau Sejour (8pm start) as, whoever wins, takes the league.

‘I can’t remember the last time it’s come down to a head-to-head and I’m pleased that it’s come to this,’ said the Guernsey Basketball Association president and Subaru player-coach Pete Beausire.

‘I was worried last week that that it was going to be a three-way split and no one wants to win on points difference. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be a good game. At the start of the season we were both favourites and it now comes down to a head to head between us.’

The match was turned into the title decider when Subaru got the better of Collins Stewart Inferno on Friday evening. If Inferno had won, they would have still been contention for the title along with Subaru and Collins.
