Fast food is the business

HIGH-FLYERS on the go can have a Michelin-starred business lunch in 40 minutes at Christophe thanks to a new express service.
The Fort Road restaurant is moving with the times by being the first to bring the City of London corporate dining concept to Guernsey. The objective is for business people to enjoy a leisurely two-course meal and coffee without compromising on quality or service.
Diners can go onto the Christophe website, select their food and then call to preorder it over the phone.
Jill Chadwick is Blue Islands’ business development manager but also provides PR and promotions for the restaurant. She said the express service was recognition of a shift in corporate dining culture, which demands a trimmed-down business lunch, but not at the expense of quality.
