Belgians in search for local ‘twin’
Friday 13th June 2008, 1:00PM BST.
This Belgian film crew has scanned the world searching for twins and wants to hear from islanders born on the same day as their programme’s subjects (see panel below). (0591135)
Could you have a twin? Not a biological one, but someone born in another country at the same time as you?
A Belgian production company needs readers’ help to team up people from Guernsey with ‘twins’ in that country. It is filming a series of documentaries, with a working title of Birthday Twins Project, for Belgian National Television (www.VRT.be).
The question behind it is, ‘What would my life have been like if I had not been born in Belgium?’. Twenty Belgians have been selected for the project and producers are now looking for people of the same gender around the world who were born on the same day.
These twins will meet and discover what, if anything, they have in common from a physical resemblance, surroundings, habits and culture.
Are you a chosen one? If you share one of these birthdays, contact the team on twins@docfish.be or twins@ woestijnvis.be.
