Guillou thrives in front of the big GP crowd

PHIL GUILLOU raced in front of 93,000 people at the weekend.
On his 250cc Yahama the Sarnian was competing in round four of the Thundersport GP2 Championship at Donington which was held straight after the British MotoGP.
The paint sprayer is used to performing in front of large crowds, having ridden before 150,000 spectators at the North West 200 in Northern Ireland early this summer.
‘It’s good to race before a big crowd again,’ he said. ‘It adds to the occasion although it was already a big occasion with the MotoGP.’ It was the first time that Guillou had ridden on Donington Grand Prix circuit.
