LUKE WINBERG and Kristina Neves won best boy and girl titles at the ninth Summer Graded Sprint Meet staged by the Jersey Swimming Club.

Both Barracudas and Guernsey Swimming Club returned with a huge haul of medals, but none was more impressive than Winberg and Neves.

Winberg, 13, won seven gold and two silver medals.  His best performance came in the 100m IM where he improved on his entered time by nearly three seconds to record a lifetime best of 1-13.35 and in the 100m freestyle where he touched in a great time of 1-03.68.

But his seven was topped by nine golds out of nine starts for 12-year-old Neves. Also taking seven gold and two silvers was 13-year-old Lotte Parfit, who set personal bests on entered times in the 50m breaststroke and freestyle and 100m individual medley.
