St Pierre Park Hotel sale looks imminent

ST PIERRE PARK HOTEL could be sold within the next few weeks, Sandpiper has confirmed. A spokesman for the company said a deal could be close but would not say who was potentially buying the hotel.

‘The hotel has been on the market for some time and it is in advanced negotiations,’ he said. ‘I’m told that something will happen in the next few weeks.’

Sandpiper announced in October that it was selling both the St Pierre Park Hotel and La Trelade in an attempt to focus on its core activities.

It finalised the sale of its hospitality estate to The Liberation Group last week. The deal saw Sandpiper sell 21 pubs in Guernsey, 42 in Jersey and two in Alderney, as well as Bucktrout & Co. Ltd, the Jersey Brewery and Victor Hugo Ltd.
