THIEVES have upset toddlers at Sunshine Pre-School by stealing some of their toys. Plastic ride-in cars and a tractor were taken from the front area at the L’Islet playschool.
The theft was discovered on Monday morning by manager Michelle Sines. ‘This saddened me greatly,’ she said yesterday.
‘Not only because it would upset the children, but also that people would do such a thing. It is obvious that this is a preschool and that the people must have known that this would deprive the children of the fun they have with these toys.’
She appealed to the thieves to return them because she said they had no idea how it had affected the children.
Two of the cars were found near Oatlands, but a turquoise tractor and some smaller cars are still missing.
