‘Pollute Cobo and we holiday in Cornwall’

VETERAN visitors the Stevens family say they will stop coming to Guernsey if sewage is pumped into Cobo Bay again.
Dorset residents Eric and Joanne Stevens have been coming to Cobo for 30 years and their son Matthew, 12, has practically grown up on the beach, they said yesterday.
‘It would just be horrible if they keep pumping sewage out here,’ said Mrs Stevens, a school bursar. ‘I wouldn’t let my son go into the sea and that’s the main attraction of the place. It’s sickening, really.’
She threatened to give up the Guernsey tradition.
‘I will go to Cornwall instead,’ she said.

I agree with Sarah, The States needs to act now or face a further loss of tourism to the island.
Pumping sewage into the sea needs to stop now!!

I’ve been visiting Guernsey for 37 years !! Come on States sort the problem before you lose your loyal holiday makers. The States need to appreciate what they have in Guernsey – it’s Paradise !
