FIVE adults and a baby girl were in hospital yesterday after two cars and a skip lorry collided at the Ville au Roi roundabout.
Skid marks led back from the Skips ‘R’ Us lorry under which a pink Daihatsu Charade was partially trapped yesterday afternoon. A silver Chevrolet Kalos had crashed into the back of the Daihatsu.
All had been travelling down Les Frieteaux towards the roundabout.
As the emergency services started treating the casualties, people looked on from their gardens and a grass bank that overlooked the scene.
One man described it as ‘horrendous’.
The Ambulance and Rescue Service was called at 3.49pm.
