Dark, dirt and danger but teamwork shines

TEAMWORK overcame difficult conditions to tackle the Belle Greve sewage flood, it was revealed yesterday.
Details of the task came to light as Public Services announced that the parts needed to repair the foul water pipe that burst, flooding neighbouring properties, on Sunday should arrive much earlier than expected.
And water testing has begun at beaches to determine whether it is safe to go in the sea.
The workmen who stayed on site through Sunday night have described the conditions they worked in as extreme.
