GUERNSEY under-15s today have the chance to secure third place in European Division One.
The Sarnians yesterday made it a three age-group hat-trick over Denmark this season with a 39-run victory at Victoria College to finish second in their group behind champions and favourites Ireland.
Now the Netherlands, who were 89-run winners over Jersey yesterday, are between Guernsey and a top-three finish.
‘We are guaranteed third or fourth, we just want to make sure it is third now,’ said Guernsey under-15s coach Jeremy Frith.
‘Holland are a decent side, but if we perform as we did again Ireland [on Tuesday], we have certainly got a chance.’
