A FORMER Miss Guernsey has sold her fund administration business for more than £22m.
Connie Helyar has just finalised a deal to sell International Private Equity Services to the company’s current management team, backed by middle-market equity firm RJD Partners.
She would not state the exact figure the business was sold for but confirmed it was more than the £22m. the Telegraph reported yesterday.
Staff will now own a significant share of the business, which provides outsourced fund administration services, and Mrs Helyar said the deal offered the best solution for everyone involved with the company.
‘From the staff’s point of view, nothing is really going to change,’ she said.
‘We have rolled over cash so that the employee benefit trust can subscribe for shares in newco [the new company].
‘I’m getting to an age where I want to put my feet up, so this was the best solution for everyone.’
