A NEW start is what Gary Stevenson is calling for this season for his new-look Rovers side.
With a mass clearout from last season and an abundance of young players coming through the youth ranks, the future looks brighter than for many years for the Port Soif club.
However, Stevenson said that any change in fortunes would not be instant and admitted that this campaign might well see the familiar sight of finishing bottom of the table.
‘It’s going to be a difficult season. We have lost a lot of players because of the changes and the club now has a completely different feel to it, which is for the better,’ he said.
One of the most promising youngsters to be given the chance this year will be 16-year-old Alex Masterton, who, Stevenson believes, has incredible potential.
