Motorcyclist Ben’s funeral will be a colourful affair

Monday 1st September 2008, 2:29PM BST.

0629487.jpgFINAL arrangements for Sunday’s charity ride in memory of Ben Davies (pictured) have been put in place. The motorcyclist died on 8 August when his machine collided with a car.

In aid of the Caritas Community Charitable Trust, which aims to set up a residential community to help young people in difficulties, the ride will begin at La Houguette School at 2pm and end at the North Beach car park between 3.30 and 4pm.

Ben’s mother, Carol Healy, has organised the ride with the help of the Rev. Richard Bellinger, who will conduct Ben’s funeral service at 2pm tomorrow.
