ANDY PRIAULX turned his anger in Germany into positive energy and one of his best drives ever at the weekend. In his typically professional manner, the Guernseyman rarely gets flustered, but the red mist descended after his coming together with Gabriele Tarquini at Oschersleben on Sunday.
‘It takes a lot to get me upset, as I have learnt over the years not to waste energy on things that are out of my control. But, and it is a really big but, when I feel things are not fair, then I can get very, very upset,’ Priaulx said.
‘One of those rare occasions happened in Oschersleben and to say I was upset would be the understatement of the year. I would love to look back on my second “home race” weekend as the one when I started off third in the championship, 16 points behind the leader, and finished it third but having narrowed the gap to 13 points.
‘However, I am more likely to remember it as one when I was cross, frustrated, disappointed and felt almost every negative emotion there is,’ added the BMW Team UK driver.
