0481696.jpgCOBO have reached a defining weekend of their season.

Tomorrow they travel to Jersey to take on Sporting Club Francais in the semi-finals of the NatWest CI Club Championship, then 24 hours later they face Rovers in the Carey Olsen GCA Cup final.

‘We have got a big weekend,’ said Cobo captain Stuart Le Prevost (pictured). ‘The CI is the one we set out to win from the start of the season. We want to win on Sunday, but Saturday takes precedent.’

With the monopoly of island players, Cobo have dominated the local cricket scene this year and they look set to field their full-strength side for both matches at the weekend.

Their runs will come from Le Prevost, Matt Oliver and Jeremy Frith, who will supply the spin option in the field with Gary Rich.

Jamie Nussbaumer and Blane Queripel are their big threats with the new ball.
