Winner Nathan finds out just how good he is

NATHAN LE BRETON was last night crowned the winner of Star Search.
The 25-year-old impressed the crowds with his acoustic set of covers and his own songs at the talent competition held at the Doghouse.
This was his first major performance and has set him on the road for gigging locally. ‘Up till now I’ve just been playing at home,’ he said.
‘I’ve done a couple of open mic nights but last night was my first real public experience. It was a case of trying to gauge my own ability among other people to get a reference point – just finding out if I’m good or not.’
He admitted that competition was stiff. He was up against 23-year-old singer Claire Baker, The Escape Fall and Lydia Pugh, 21.
