SIR CLIVE WOODWARD is set to address Guernsey’s sporting and business community as part of an all-day sports benefit event.
England’s World Cup-winning rugby coach will visit the island next month as a guest of the Guernsey Sports Commission.
He will address an invited audience during the fifth anniversary gala dinner, sponsored by Tom Scott, which will form part of this year’s chairman’s golf day.
Stuart Falla, chairman of the GSC, is looking forward to the event. ‘We’re absolutely delighted that Sir Clive is making time to visit the island in what is a particularly busy year, even by his standards,’ he said.
‘He is going to share some of his knowledge and experience, developed through coaching elite sports teams.’
