THE Jungle House children’s play area at Oatlands has been taken over by an enthusiastic couple bursting with fresh ideas.
Andy and Belynda Moffat have bought the business from John Tostevin and Gareth Griffin, who still own the crazy-golf course.
The parents of six children and also foster carers of eight years, Mr and Mrs Moffat said they were excited about their new venture.
‘We’ve got so many ideas for the place, we just can’t wait to get stuck in,’ said Mrs Moffat. ‘We’ll be bringing a Santa’s Grotto this Christmas, as well as face painting, craft parties, pottery painting and discos soon. We’ll try to accommodate anything that people want. The only problem is that there are only so many hours in the day. Having a large family has thrown up its own set of challenges, but now the kids have gone back to school it’s a little easier.’
As well as the children’s play area, the business includes the terrace snack and drinks bar, the trampolines, the race carts and also some other forthcoming attractions.
