The 13-and-under girls’ section was an especially high standard, dominated by three up-and-coming youngsters. Kristina Neves, Lotte Parfit and Cody Butcher all set records or finished inside the existing marks.

Neves placed first in the freestyle, butterfly and individual medley, setting new records in all three events, as well as finishing inside the old record in the backstroke where she placed second.

Her time in the freestyle of 1-01.41 was also the fastest time of the day from the women.
