AARON BAILEY has come out on top of the Chiropractic and Massage Clinic Five Mile Time Trial Series.

Runner-up spot in the fourth and final race clinched him overall victory ahead of Terry Wright, Stuart Le Tissier, Chris Le Page and Alan Rowe.

Allan Renyard took first place in the standards competition ahead of Ann Bowditch, Wright and Gary Wallbridge, with Callum Hill-Smith completing the top five.

James McLaughlin won the final race of the series and set a new five-mile record in the process, eclipsing by two seconds Dan Arblaster’s mark, which had been set two weeks earlier.

McLaughlin crossed the finish line in 10-34 with second-placed Bailey clocking 10-52.

Arblaster took third place followed by Wright, Le Tissier, Rowe, Hill-Smith and Rob Smart, with Nick Mann and Tim Holmes completing the top 10 on the same time.

Renyard once again took the standards competition, completing the five miles 3-59 ahead of the standard for his age.
