Champions blitz their Gremlin stablemates

GREMLIN Galacticos were in unforgiving mode as they powered past La Villette Gremlins in the Image Group Premier Division.

An opening six-frame blitz provided by Glenn Le Prevost and Adrian Lihou was followed by a three-frame stutter before the champions took the final trio of frames for a 9-3 win.

All four Galacticos made 40+ breaks, with Paul Le Sauvage converting his to a round 50, while Le Prevost fell one short in recording a second 3-0 win and Lihou (pictured) made a 44.

The Gremlins’ frames stemmed mainly from John Skillett, who has enjoyed a great start to the season. He took the first two off Adam Shorto before the latter’s 41 ended a low-key encounter between the two.

Anything the Galacticos can do, the Chirpers can match as they impressed in also claiming a 9-3 victory.
