GREMLIN Galacticos turned in another demolition job in the Image Group Premier Division, this time inflicting the season’s first league whitewash playing against Ex-Service Winkers.

As opening pairings go, few can currently compete with Glenn Le Prevost (pictured) and Adrian Lihou, who have dropped just one frame between them so far.

Colin Gilbert and Jim Wilson rarely threatened that record until the latter pushed Lihou to a black-ball finish in the sixth frame, by which time Le Prevost had recorded his first 50 of the season in making it nine frames out of nine.

Adam Shorto and Paul Le Sauvage continued the rout, with the former hitting a 60 clearance in his first 3-0 win of the season, while Le Sauvage won the game’s other black-ball frame in beating Brett Gallienne.

The Winkers’ second match of the week proved more productive, but it did not prevent North Social L-Plates from gaining their first Premier victory.
