RILEY KING and Alex Clark were the home winners at the Relentless Guernsey Two-Day Motocross.

The event attracted a record number of entries at the weekend and with perfect racing conditions, all riders were pushing themselves and their machines to the limit and that provided great free entertainment to the hundreds of spectators who ventured out to the Pleinmont headland.

Unfortunately, a few pushed it a little too far and needed the Ambulance and Rescue Service’s assistance, with three taking a visit to hospital. All were released in time for the presentations on Sunday evening.

King won the youngest age group with Jersey riders dominating the other youth classes as Connor Hamon, Ryan Caurel, Aaron Pipon and Sam Allix claimed their respective category honours.

In the adults, Clark triumphed in the open class while Caesarean Harry Bertram clinched the MX2.

The next round of the championship season is on Saturday 25 October.
