CENKOS YOBBOS continued to stamp their authority on the Investec Men’s Division One with a 3-2 win over Deloitte Elizabeth College First XI at Foote’s Lane on Saturday.
Their goals came courtesy of former national league star Andy Whalley, Tim Eggimann and Andy Good, who is usually found in goal.
Adam Clark and Hywel Robinson scored for College. The result sees Yobbos top the table with 12 points, having won all four of their matches.
‘It was a big win for us,’ said captain Steve Ward. ‘It was certainly a fixture I was worried about as College are a very good side. They’ve got lots of potential and they are only going to get better.’
In the weekend’s other match in the men’s top flight, defending champions Coreix Unwantables took care of Investec Colombian Vets 6-1.
