GUERNSEY captain Simon Sharrott’s eye is firmly focused on a promotion spot from London Three South-West.
After their poor start to the campaign, the Greens are now moving in the right direction up the table following consecutive victories and are looking to maintain their 100% home record against Tottonians this afternoon at Foote’s Lane (2pm kick off).
The formbook suggests that they are favourites to do so, despite the visitors being above them in the league.
Tots have lost their last two matches while Guernsey followed up the impressive 25-6 home win over London Cornish three weeks ago with the 20-5 defeat of London Irish Amateur last weekend.
‘As we now know, Tots have come unstuck in the past couple of weeks. We have been improving and getting the wins we desire and need to get us in contention with promotion still a massive factor and only goal of the season,’ said Sharrott.
