Monday 3rd November 2008, 2:29PM GMT.
JUGGLING business with babies was never going to be easy, according to Birmingham City CEO Karren Brady.
Talking at the Guernsey Investment Fund Association’s annual dinner, Ms Brady (pictured) spoke about the challenges of running a successful football club and having two children.
‘I definitely don’t think you can have it all. I have to do that thing we all do – juggle.
‘And we all have different ways of dealing with it,’ said the 39-year-old, whose list of accolades includes being Cosmopolitan magazine’s woman of the year 2006.
‘I always intended going back to work and I was lucky that I found good childcare and had the support of family. It’s difficult to be a working mother without finding the right mix.’
Ms Brady, who was made the club’s managing director at the age of 23, also spoke about running a successful business, how to turn it around and the importance of investing in staff.
