ADAM SHORTO is back on top of the Individual Snooker League at the expense of John Skillett, whom he beat 4-1.
Having comfortably taken the opener, Shorto stole the next on the black before being pegged back by Skillett’s third 48 break of the league.
At 30-all in the fourth, Shorto produced a top class 63 clearance to reopen a two-frame lead prior to clinching the last to make it four wins out of four.
Martyn Desperques also has a 100% record having beaten Glenn Le Prevost 5-0. The current champion has yielded just one frame in his three matches and the highlight of his latest victory came courtesy of a 71 break in the second frame.
Desperques sits just a point behind Skillett, having played two games fewer.
