Thursday 6th November 2008, 2:29PM GMT.
A MAN was found guilty of possessing an offensive weapon in the Royal Court yesterday.
Phillip Hennessy was also accused of attempting to assault a police officer and resisting arrest.
He had denied all the charges.
However, 10 Jurats found him guilty of carrying a lock knife in his pocket by a 9-1 majority and were unanimous on the resisting charge.
All found him not guilty of the attempted assault.
Hennessy, who has previous convictions, will be sentenced in January.
